Hola amigos!

I apologize for being a slacker when it comes to updating this. You might have assumed I've just been so incredibly busy that I haven't had the time, however it's quite the opposite situation. I have been a bum for over a week now. We haven't had many tours going on because we have had limited cruise ships come in. Not to mention most peop
le on them are ancient and not capable of completing a zipline course. Therefore, we had a lot of time off, and I have been less than productive with it. My days have consisted of sleeping in, playing frisbee at Sandy Beach, reading, watching LOST, hanging out at Heritage Cafe, and drawing in my sketch book. That has been my new thing recently. My housemates Britt and Danielle inspired me to start sketching.

I can feel the days getting longer day by day. When I first arrived, the hours of sunlight here didn't feel much different from back home. Now the sun doesn't completely go down until after 10:00. Last week we saw the midnight showing of The Wolverine (awesome movie p.s.) and we didn't get home til' after 2am. I couldn't sleep and didn't end up getting to bed until after 3am, and while I was going to bed, the sun was already rising. It will be interesting to see how the sun effects my sleep patterns when there is eventually 18+ hours of straight sunlight. Good thing I finally got curtains in my room.

We almost have a full house now, along with a full staff. The rest of the crew will be ariving shortly. We have a great staff. I genuinely enjoy ha
nging out with everyone here.

Well I do have a tour today, inspite of the incredibly slow week. Lets hope the rain holds off for me. It's been raining the past few times I have been out at the site. Though it's fun fo
r me to zip in the rain, it makes it very difficult to break, thus equaling many clients hitting trees coming into the platform. Though, that is the leads problem. Ha. I'm an assistant, so I follow the group after and am resposible for clipping them into the next zip.

I'll leave you all with more scenery pictures that I know you all love. I took these on my walk downtown on a really nice day last week. Enjoy! <3
